Reliable transport is essential at every level of the health care system. Riders provide comprehensive management and planned preventative maintenance for motorcycles and four-wheeled vehicles used within health systems in sub-Saharan African countries. Riders’ ability to maintain vehicles gives them consistent and equitable access to communities, many of which are not otherwise reached by the health care system.
